Then you can enjoy having control of a real aircraft, while looking around the Whakatane area from the air. The Flight – (20 Minutes) –  Starts with a few minutes walk around the aircraft with your Instructor who will be re-explaining how the basic controls work. Next you board the aircraft while the interesting helpful pointers continue through the start-up, taxiing and take off. Thus before you know it you are in control of an aircraft taking your Instructor for a ride. Fly out and around Edgecumbe,  then set a  heading for Ohiwa Harbour passing to the south of Whakatane township. Turn and track down the Ohope Beach ….
