This is a world class, half-day, white water run with famous rapids such as Max’s Drop, Fulcrum and Foamy. In fact there are 10 major Grade 3-5 rapids on this 11 km run, plus numerous smaller rapids. White water rafting is a perfect mix of scenic solitude and full on adventure. River Valley has been rafting since 1982 and is one of the North Island’s most experienced rafting companies. All trips include wetsuits, helmets, life jackets and transport from the River Valley lodge to the start point. Rafters just need to bring a swimsuit, towel, and good attitude.
